Yoga Den's Class Types:

  • Gentle - An easier yet well-balanced practice with emphasis on breath awareness, alignment and building more relaxation into our efforts. Good for beginners or those with limitations.
  • Intro / Level 1 - Good for beginners or students who want to brush up on the basics. Instruction in form and technique in postures, breath and meditation.
  • Mixed Level - Suitable for most practitioners. These artful classes offer moderately challenging poses and activities that can be easily modified for safety and ease. Continued emphasis on alignment breath work and present moment awareness.
  • Rock -N- Roll Yoga - Join Theresa and the Yoga den staff Friday nights for Rock-N-Yoga. Some experience required because in this class there is “more Rockin and less Talkin”.
  • Sound Therapy - Yoga Den has a monthly Sound Therapy Night. Sound Therapy uses the power of vibration to create a deep sense of peace, which allows one to relax and release and heal on all levels. Mixed use of Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Didgeridoo, Drum, Flute, Bells etc… all of Dennis’ classes are concluded with a 5 -10 minute Sound Therapy session.
  • Therapeutic Chair Yoga - Chair Yoga is a mild form of yoga for anyone, any age with limiting or restricted physical conditions.

Dennis classes are designed for all levels with the intention of keeping less experienced students safe and present. While directing more experienced students into different expressions of the same poses. Classes can be energetic but center around body awareness, emotional, sensitivity, and spiritual remembrance. ( Remember: each class is only as hard or as easy as you choose it to be.)

Theresa Moser

Theresa Moser Yoga Instructor

Theresa has studied and practiced hatha yoga since 1996 and received her teaching certification in December 1999 with Cindy Gibbons at Yoga Studio Carlsbad. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and has taught hatha yoga and meditation at yoga studios, elementary schools, resorts and corporations, as well as Camp Pendleton! Her influences include Kripalu and Iyengar style hatha yoga, with a bit of Vinyasa-style mixed in. Theresa's greatest influence in hatha yoga practice has been her first teacher of course, Cindy Gibbons, as well as yoga master Eric Schiffmann (see www.movingintostillness.com), who has himself studied in India with yoga masters T.K.V. Desikachar and B.K.S. Iyengar, and in the U.S. with Joel Kramer. Theresa is a member of Y.E.S. (Yoga Education Society) and is CPR certified.

Heather Bashore

Heather Bashore has been teaching in our North County San Diego area for 8 years. Receiving her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through Cindy Gibbons at Yoga Studio Carlsbad. Heather continues to achieve personal health and wellness through her dedication of practice inspiring others to do the same. Allowing students to explore and trust their own inner process while demonstrating innovative alignment based poses in a comprehensive and playful atmosphere. Find vibrant health and new energy with Heather's powerfully transformational classes that are designed to alleviate stress and encourage you to feel the energy you are made of. In addition to her popular class instruction Heather is a highly sought after massage therapist. Trained in several modalities including relaxing Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic, Pre and Post Natal, and Native Hot Stone.

Tia Lanzetta

Jillian Jancic Yoga Instructor

Tia is a Holistic Health Practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-Hour Level with the Yoga Alliance. A Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor since the mid-80’s, Tia added yoga to her repertoire a decade later, and has a true affinity for the art. She is compassionate and light-hearted, with a special gift for guided meditation. Tia teaches Yoga for Balance which trains body and mind through the use of pranayama (breath work), and gentle but challenging asanas (steady poses). We’ll finish with guided visualization in savasana (corpse pose) to comfortably connect to Spirit! Appropriate for all levels.
