This Retreat is a little more expressive and also more Asana oriented in the Morning we share a more vigorous practice of back arches and hard balances. In the late afternoon a challenging yet relaxing flow of forward bends and twists. Midday is open for your enjoyment (activities according to location). On Friday evening a Dharma discussion on the beauty of the self and why it’s our sacred duty to share our gifts and shine our light. Saturday night is show and tell talent night, well play some music, chant and talk and whoever wants to share their art or gift or whatever it is that turns them on. (No sales please). Can come up and share and shine. Rise and shine and share the love that you are. Theme is Courage It is not mandatory to bring a talent to share. Feel free to just come and enjoy and share the beauty of your self/company in the spirit of yoga. If you work in some medium difficult to transport perhaps pictures of your art or smaller version of it.
Harvesting the fruits of your practice – A Gathering of nuts before winter.
What purpose is our practice if were not evolving toward infinitely deeper levels of perfection. This retreat centers around the conscious (enjoyment or) experience of the fruits of your efforts/labor. Asana, Pranayama, Meditation.
Journaling and conscious eating (gourmet). In Friday night’s dharma discussion we will talk about the necessity of noticing our beauty, of recognizing our efforts ad realizing the changes our practice has already brought about. We’ll also consider the dangers inherent in acknowledging our greatness without humility or devotion.
Saturday’s yoga classes are from 8:30-10:30 and 12:30-3:00 as all of today’s meals are intended to be communal and as conscious as possible.
Morning: Meal in Silence
Lunch: (partners) Blindfolded/Flavor Isolation
Dinner: All try courses together and discuss tastes likes and feelings

The natural world flows with the rhythms of the seasons. Yet, strangely, we are now expected to continuously produce, to always be on, and to always be okay. A life pulse, changes, dies is renewed and shows us a way to be in rhythm with all the layers of our being.
Having the courage to allow ourselves to descend into silence and into the self leads to our remembrance revelation and revitalization. When the Northern Hemisphere goes to sleep, leans away from the sun, nature slows down, retreats, recollects and waits for spring’s emergence. (Somehow, though, we’ve made this the busiest time of the year.) This retreat will give you permission to slow down, to retreat, to say no and to deeply honor the rhythms of your self.
Friday nights dharma discussion centers around the courage needed to surrender to silence, to surrender to the hearts beauty and how we can surrender to the rhythm of the season and still honor your own natural rhythms.
